Merry Christmas to All...

I'm actaually ahead of the game this year. All the presents are wrapped and ready to go. Get this: I took all the girls toys and took them out of the boxes, untied them from those HORRIBLE wire things (who the HELL invited those by the way?? That a-hole should be shot at dawn), inserted batteries where needed, and put them back in the boxes. This way, when they open their presents we can get the toys working right away instead of me struggling with the boxes and wires while my girls scream "open it open it open it!!!"

Are you impressed? You sure as hell should be.

I'm excited to see the girls faces on Christmas morning. This is the first year that they're really starting to "get it"...to understand Christmas, Santa Claus and the whole thing. Tomorrow, we're going to bake Christmas cookies for Santa before going to my mom's for our annual Christmas Eve bash. Mom's baked ziti...yum. Then, once the girls are in bed, I'll be assembling their Little Tikes Talking Kitchen right next to the tree.

The girls really loved watching "Frosty the Snowman" this year. I think I watched it five times today. I've tried to get them into "Rudolph" too, but they're not interested. My mom bought them a stuffed Frosty doll, and they both tell it "Happy Birthday Frosty!"

Now if I could just get them to stop pulling ornaments off the damned tree, I'd be happy.
