Someone - stop me. Please.

I recently wrote about my addiction to certain TV shows. I am spending entirely too much time watching TV.

In the last couple of weeks, I believe I've sunk to a new low.

I'm faithfully watching "Dancing with the Stars" - EEK. I can't help myself. I love the whole ballroom dancing thing. I love the costumes, I love the whole Fred-and-Ginger vibe. I can't help myself. When I was younger, I took dance classes. I loved it. I secretly wish I could do it again.

I also got sucked into watching the latest season of "Americal Idol". I started out watching the beginning auditions just to watch the parade of freaks. Now I'm completely hooked.

Will someone please come to my house and take away my remote control before this gets any worse?

In other news, the weather has been pretty mild in my neck of the woods. Our local groundhog predicted an early spring, temps have been in the 40s and 50s. DH put away the snow shovel. So I guess its his fault that a Noreaster is headed our way. Initial predictions are for 10-12 inches of snow. Dammit. I hate snow. I hate driving in it, I hate the ice, I hate shoveling...not to mention that I'm getting too old to shovel.

Despite the impending inclement weather, DH and I are moving ahead with our plans to go out to dinner tomorrow night. An early Valentine celebration, just dinner and a movie. I'm looking forward to a nice, big steak and a big, honkin glass of wine. My MIL is sleeping over, so I won't be getting any Valentine's action, but I guess I can't have everything!

And in still other news...John Corbett (formerly of shows like "Northern Exposure" and "Sex and the City") cut a country album. Yikes. He's rockin the Jesus look these days. Double yikes.

Who is your current crush? - I've got lots of "crushes"; I've mentioned some before...Christopher Meloni (Law & Order SVU), William Petersen (CSI), Chris Noth and John Corbett (SATC), Russell Crowe (cliche, I know)...and the "qualified crushes"...like Brad Pitt (but only as Tristan from "Legends of the Fall", and Viggo Mortensen (but only as Aragorn from "LOTR".
3. Tell us about a dream you remember. - Most recently, I had a dream about my sister. I was supposed to be "keeping an eye on her", but she refused my help. I finally got pissed off and told her to jump off a bridge. But then I felt guilty because I knew that my parents would be pissed at me for leaving her behind.
4. Do you live with anyone, or do you live by yourself? - I live with DH and my two daughters.
5. When is the last time you bled from an injury? - Cut myself with a knife recently.
