I got nuthin.
I don't have a whole lot to bitch about this week. Unfortunately, when I have nothing to bitch about I don't have much to write about; my life is pretty damn boring. Do you really care that I went food shopping and cleaned the bathroom today? I didn't think so. So I'll try to focus on some highlights and then let you move on to more exciting blogs.
The Christmas tree FINALLY came down this week. I am slowly reclaiming my living room for a hot minute before I put up the girls' new folding table and chairs and their Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Home....the joys of assembling Christmas toys. YICK.
In other news, it looks like DH's car is history. We found an unbelievable deal on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. I would have been happy with a mini van, but DH hates them, and we really need a large vehicle. Now I won't be able to bitch about driving to the BILs house in Long Island in separate cars; now we'll be able to take the four of us PLUS the MIL and auntie in our big behemoth of an SUV. YES, I know we're going to get a whopping 13 miles per gallon (YIKES) but its a trade off. We'll be bidding goodbye to DH's Ford Taurus wagon junkmobile - and good riddance.
My MIL is coming for an overnight stay tomorrow - hoo-fuckin-ray. Because she "misses us". PUKE.
I'm pretty depressed because it looks like I won't reach my 3rd bonus level with the scrapbooking gig. I've had a pretty dry month or so, and with $700 dollars to go before my deadline at the end of the month, prospects are pretty bleak. Oh well.
And while we're on the topic of money - the living room TV blew out the other day. Of course it happened in the morning when things were most hectic. We had to buy a new TV and we also bought a new DVD/VCR (our VCR was falling apart!), and our front stairs outside the house are falling apart, so we have to replace those as well before they completely disintigrate...and with my luck, I'll be standing on them when it happens.
OK. Enough boring crap. I'm going to bed. I have a headache and need to catch up on my rest. Here's the Friday Fiver
1. What do you normally eat for breakfast? - Depends. Sometimes nothing, sometimes cereal. Weekends I splurge.
2. Are you more likely to drink coffee or tea? - Coffee. Only tea when I'm sick.
3. Would you consider yourself a good cook?- Hells ya
4. What is your favorite meal? - Depends on my mood really.
5. Green eggs and ham: would you eat it? - Don't think so. I would not eat it anywhere.

That laugh and learn home is fun. I enjoy it as much as my grandson does.

I've noticed that everything in and around the house seems to die at the same time.
Our TV, microwave oven, and kettle all died earlier this month. We're waiting for the next wave of destruction to hit us.
Sigh.
