...And God bless us every one.

It's Christmas Eve. We got back from my mom's house about an hour ago. Thankfully, the girls went right to sleep. They behaved so well tonite, even little miss S. Finally my family listened to me and followed my instructions. Once she settled in, she was fine. She actually charmed just about everyone, especially since she wasn't hysterical crying the whole night. She even played with my dad (her grandpa) - the smile on his face was all the present I needed (she always cries when she sees grandpa!)

And can I tell you how pretty the girls looked in their dresses? So grown up.

The best thing I ever did was NOT buy presents for everyone this year - much less stressful. I did the macaroons, and gave everyone cute little decorated lunchboxes to put them in.

This past week has been crazy - DH has been home all week due to the transit strike in NYC. Luckily his employer was cool enough to let him work from home, but he's been under my feet all damn week!

Tomorrow we're off to Long Island to the BILs house, and more Christmas craziness.

DH surprised me with a Seiko Coutura watch - now maybe I'll be able to keep track of what day it is, much less the time!

I'm off to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" and then the "Christmas Story" marathon on TBS.

Hope your holidays are happy, wherever you are...
"You'll shoot yer eye out, kid!"

Here's the Friday Fiver...one day late. No one's perfect. I was baking macaroons, what'dya want?

1. Do you have any holiday plans? - The usual family visits. My mom on Xmas eve, and my BILs on Xmas day
2. Will you be traveling? - Not too far, just on the roads, which is bad enough.
3. What is the worst thing about this time of year? - TRAFFIC
4. Do you have any favorite holiday foods? - My MILs pernil and arroz con gandules, and my Christmas cookies
5. Is it a Christmas tree or a holiday tree? - PUL-EEZE. Christmas!
