We've gone underground!!!
Should you be a regular reader, you may notice that the URL for my little rant has changed. Why? Because DH got bored at work and Google'd my username, and found a bunch of posts from numerous bulletin boards that I frequent. When I Google'd my username (which has also now changed), my first hit was my Blogger profile, which of course leads you here.
What, you thought DH KNEW about the blog? Foolish reader. Or perhaps I should say, foolish me, for not being smarter. Oh well. I'd tinkered with the idea of deleting the blog entirely and starting over, but I flat out refuse. There's so much of...me here that I refuse to just delete it. So I've changed my username and the URL of the blog, and I'll keep watching my Sitemeter stats (THANK GOD for sitemeter!)...but why the hell doesn't Blogger allow you to password protect your blog? Wasup with that?
Anyway.
Dr. D. has the croup. I TOLD YOU. Only two days after hanging out with their little germy cousins, kissing my kid's faces, my kids wind up sick. She had a low grade fever and a loose cough, then woke up from a nap barking like a seal. I began to nebulize her immediately. We saw the doctor the following day. Two days after that, I wound up sick. I'm feeling so decidedly shitty that I can barely move from the couch.
To top it all off, we're between insurance, so I've had to shell out cash for all of our meds. Too much fucking fun for one person to handle.
OK, I'm off to take my Z-pak, drink some juice, and feel sorry for myself in general. Here's this week's Friday Feast:

You had to pay full price for Z-Pack?! OMG, you poor thing! I just went thru a course of that myself, after regualar old Amoxicillin refused to work.
