M...I...C

See you real soon!

K...E...Y...

Why? Because the weather is getting colder!

M...O...U...S...E...

Oh yea, its mouse season.

We were working with the physical therapist the other day when Mickey himself decided to take a stroll through the living room. Know what my three cats did about that?

NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING. Too old, too lazy.

DH has a horrible phobia of mice. Horrible. As in he should be seeing a therapist. He went straight to Home Depot and spent almost $200 on electronic traps - like little mouse motels. Haven't caught a single thing. So we are on high alert over here.

The girls had their eyes examined today. The therapists said that Miss S's left eye was turning in -- I never saw anything of the sort. After the drama of an eye exam, and both girls getting their eyes dilated, the doctor said both their eyes are fine. I also took the girls to get blood drawn this week - six vials of blood each. Each girl screamed and gave me that look that says, "why are you letting them do this to me?" -- I got flashbacks of last year's hospital stay. The phlebotomist was a complete asshole, and yelled at me to hold my daughter tighter -- I fixed him with a look and said, "how about I put her in a sleeper hold and knock her unconscious - you nasty excuse for a human being..." They're SEVENTEEN months old - what the fuck do you expect? Not to mention that they tried to get me to do a urine specimen when I KNOW FOR A FACT that we were only there for blood -- people just don't know how to read. How the hell do you get a urine sample from a toddler that isn't potty trained anyway? Not that it matters, because I'm not doing it.

The neurologist is still looking for S. to get the EEG. I'm not doing it. I'm fucking tired. I'm tired of people in my house every single day. Judging me and my kids. Tired of doctors and techs with no compassion, tired of hearing my kids crying, and tired of submitting my kids to unnecessary tests. Not gonna do it. I've officially reached my limit.

DH has decided that today we're moving furniture around in the living room. I have no idea how he hopes to accomplish all of this, and at some point I'll be losing connectivity, so here's the Friday Fiver

1. Have you made any Halloween plans? - Yes. Halloween party at my BILs. Yay. Must feign enthusiasm.
2. At what age should you stop trick-or-treating? - Your teens. Then you can pick it up again in your 20's.
3. What's your favorite kind of Halloween candy? - Kit Kats
4. Are you more likely to trick someone else or be tricked yourself? - I'm pretty gullible.
5. Do you believe in ghosts? - yes.
