It's Time for the Friday Rant - Are you excited?
I know I am.
Today D. got herself covered in diaper rash cream inside of 20 seconds. I left her sitting on the couch, playing with this tub of diaper rash cream (its their favorite toy, go figure). I turned my back to tend to S. and when I turned around again, she had diaper rash cream all over the damn place -- squishing it in her hands, in her hair, oy.
We have a wedding to go to tomorrow. NOT looking forward. It's my cousin, whom I barely know. I never really dieted, so I'm going to look like a sausage in my adorable $8 dress. I've had NO TIME to get a manicure or a pedicure (how pathetic is that?) DH is still going to see his MIL in the morning - he has no desire to go to this thing, so he's going to stress me out and embarrass the hell out of me by making sure we arrive late.
When the girls nap today, I am going to try self tanner on my legs. I'm nervous about this. My sister self tans and looks orange as all hell. So, if no one hears from me by the end of the weekend, you'll likely find me in the shower, scrubbing off orange self tanner. Oh, and its going to be over 90 degrees tomorrow. There's just no way to stay looking fresh and unrumpled on a day like that. So needless to say I'm going to look like ASS no matter what I do. I'm just full of positivity today, aren't I? Let's move along to the Friday Fiver, shall we?
Coming Attractions
1. What is your favorite action movie? - "Kill Bill"
2. What is the worst movie you've ever seen? "Being John Malkovitch"
3. Do you prefer comedy or drama? Drama
4. Recommend a good tear jerker: I just watched "The Champ" - I cried like a baby.
5. What movie are you looking forward to seeing soon? - "Batman Begins"

I am sure you will look great! We women are always so hard on ourselves! If you want a good tearjerker movie, try Finding Neverland. It is great! Have you finished reading "The Secret Life of Bees yet?
