Whatd'ya mean its FRIDAY...

Man, I feel like my life is in a VCR on FF>.

Baby S. has been a total attention whore since she got home from the hospital. I mean I CANNOT get anything done around this girl. She's always been a little more needy than her sister, and with the separation anxiety thing. But this week, if I walk past her (on the way to the kitchen) she cries hysterically. I've been told that this is to be expected, and I simply need to re-train her to understand that (a) I'm in the other room, (b) I'm not at her beck-and-call and (c) what dya know? she has a sister that I need to pay attention to as well. But its tough. She went back to the Dr. today and got a clean bill of health, thank god. Now I can re-schedule their 9-month immunizations, which are woefully behind schedule. Spring cannot come fast enough. I stand like a sentinel, waiting to take on any wayward germs that may try to infiltrate. Every night, I wash down everything that doesn't move with diluted alcohol in a spray bottle. Every day I spray their beds with Lysol, and throw the window open for fresh air. I'm starting to get a little germaphobic (did I say starting??)

I'm going to my CTMH sales unit meeting tomorrow morning. These women are so shady, it rivals anything that I experienced in the corporate world. Luckily, I am the Cerebral Assassin. These bitches don't know who the hell they are dealing with. At the end of the day though, I get a lot of good ideas from the group, so I've resolved to go, soak up info, and leave. I'm not there to make friends -- I have friends, thanks.

Speaking of CTMH, I'm going to reschedule my first home party for next week. The weather today is supposed to suck, and as much as I wanted to have it today, I just haven't been able to promote it the way I wanted to with the baby in the hospital. I was just being stubborn. So I'm going to reschedule for the weekend of the 19th, which gives me more time to prepare. I'm so excited, I just really want to start the ball rolling.

OK, here's today's Friday Fiver; feel free to post your own responses!

Ripped from the headlines
1. Michael Jackson: Did he do it? - Yes, without a doubt.
2. Martha: Did she deserve prison? - As much as I dislike her, probably not.
3. Bill Clinton: Think his wife is going to run for President? She sure will.
4. Madrid anniversary of 3/11: Are you thinking about it? nope. Not until I saw it in the headlines.
5. What's the headline of your local news outlet? Detectives Killed for Mob, Indictments Say (today's NY Times)
