HOW does she do it??

Since my last post, my life has crumbled into hell and damnation. Baby S. was re-admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night for what we now know was a stomach virus and she simply dehydrated, but that night we thought it might have been menengitis. You just haven't lived till your kid has to sit through a spinal tap. I would rather have gone through it myself 100 times than have her live through it once.

Then DH and Baby D got sick. Puking, shitting...I'm up to my elbows in loose stools. DH has been sleeping at the hospital almost every night. I'm home with Baby D. who seems to be turning the corner from the stomach virus, but still has a loose cough in her chest from the upper respiratory thing a couple weeks ago. I can hear her chest rattle...so I'm taking her to the Dr. after I bring Baby S. home tomorrow, and PRAY to God that she doesn't get admitted to the hospital now.

All of my family and friends are sick themselves, can't take time off work to help, or don't want to be around our contagion (which I completely understand). I don't know what I'm going to do, short of cutting myself in half.

I'm the only semi-healthy one in the house and need it to stay this way. Send healthy vibes my way.
