I *HEART* You All!
I had a great Valentine's night out. Yes, dropping the babies off at my mother's was a pain in the ass because they have to go with EVERYTHING they own - swings, Exersaucers, their lovies...and not to mention critical things like diapers and food. DH was in a piss-poor mood because he's sick...I won't jam up the whole entry with this thought process, but WHY THE FUCK are men such god-awful babies when they're sick?? I mean, I get sick (and am getting sick at this writing, thanks to DH breathing his nasty germs all over me and leaving full snotrags all over the house)...anyway, I get sick, and life has to move on -- the laundry has to get done, the babies certainly need to be taken care of, I need to try and get past the feeling shitty and just plod on with life, because life doesn't stop just because you're sick - right? Men get sick and they become whiny little 5-year olds who want you to baby them and coddle them. UGH!
Enough of that. On to the good stuff. DH showered me with not one, not two, but THREE boxes of Godiva (one from him, and one from each of the babies....AWWWWwwwwww). He took me out for a big, fat, heavy Italian dinner with big glasses of yummy Merlot. Then we went down the street to a cafe and had some espresso and pastries. We had canoli, cream puffs, and split a lobster tail (for those who are uninitiated, a lobster tail is an Italian pastry that has a crunchy shell...almost like a puff pastry dough with vanilla pastry cream on the inside...its heaven). In spite of all this, I missed my babies, and before I went to bed, I stopped in their room and inhaled the sweet baby smell that lingers in the room even when they're not here. Oh, and yes - I got laid too. All in all, a fine Valentines day.
Had my first meeting with my Close to My Heart sales unit. I left there with so much to do. I have a series of pages to finish, not to mention all the other prep work I have to do for my jumpstart party, which I'm hoping to have by the second week of March.
I'm skipping Monday Madness this week - it just required too much thought (I'm such a lazy fuck). So instead, we're going with a simple question, brought to us by Daydreaming On Paper

What gives you the warm fuzzies?
C'mon, let's hear it.
