Where in the hell...
Did the day go? Jeez-Louise. I need another 8 hours tacked on to each day in order to make headway. No, scratch that. What I need to do is create a list of my ongoing tasks and projects....but who's got time to make the list?? Instead I wander around from one thing to another, making mental notes of, say, the unfolded laundry, or the closet I need to clean out...and then I get sidetracked and forget...until the next time I wander past it.
Got Danielle's Xmas card - Lisa did a great job at JC Penney, because the pics came out great. I just got my shipment from Shutterfly, so I'll be printing up some labels and getting our cards in the mail...WHOOPS...add that to the "To Do" list.
And I'm spending entirely too much time on the Internet. I've been consumed the last week or so with the blog...please say you've noticed some of my enhancements/additions (and if you haven't, please pretend you did). I've got other stuff I want to do, and don't know how to do it. So I've been trolling around the 'net in search of support docs.
Right now, I can hear Baby S in the living room with the hiccups. But she won't drink any water, so there's not a whole lot I can do...but I have to listen to her frustration because they're bothering her and she can't stop them. It goes something like this: "hiccup!...arrrrgggh!!!" They're both on my shit list because they got me up at 5am this morning. First Baby D calling out to "Reeeeeee!" (for those who missed it, that's me, apparently), and then she woke her sister who refused to go back to sleep. After I got them both back down, I went unconscious until about 10am. By the time I got breakfast into them, it was nearly noon before I was eating. Before I knew it, lunch was here...its now past 4pm and I've got to start dinner soon. I'm making my Mack Momma meatloaf. My meatloaf is kind of like my chili - its got everything but the kitchen sink in it, but it is AWESOME. The secret to a good meatloaf? Worchestershire, dry mustard, onion soup mix, and cocktail sauce. You heard me. Try it sometime, you won't be sorry.
Off to immerse myself in domesticity - lata.
