Insomniac Thee-ay-ter
I haven't had a decent night's sleep all week. I lie here, waiting for sleep to come, and it doesn't. Therefore, as an alternative to watching bad TV, I've been laying here with my laptop (gotta love wireless), surfing and playing with my blog. Listening to DH's snoring is enough to make me want to stab him...but that's just jealousy talking.
As a result, you'll be seeing some geek-tastic changes to my little blog. Lucky you. Good to see that my sleep deprivation is going to produce some kind of benefit.
Baby S is still giving me a hard time at bed time. Tonight she fell asleep holding my hand. Which is a double-edged sword: part of my loves the hell out of that, feeling her chubby little hand wrapped around my finger. Part of me sees forward into the future, and sees Baby S becoming Toddler S who wraps herself around my leg everytime I try to leave the house.
I finally got around to doing the Xmas card pics of the girls today. It wasn't quite hell, more like purgatory. The bitches just don't smile when you want them to. After I took the dresses off, and put them back in the PJ's...then they started smiling. Just like their mommy - happier in cotton, flannel and fleece than taffeta.
More on Julia Roberts and her twins: Am I the only one who asked "What's up with those NAMES? Hazel and Finn?" I mean, compared to naming your kids, say, Coco or Apple, it seems tame. But is she TRYING to get her kids beat up in grade school? I watched her on Oprah, and Oprah asked Julia how was she going to handle life with twins. Julia said something like they'd find "some way" to manage (I'm paraphrasing). This pissed me off immensely - like JULIA is going to wash a single bottle, or get up for a 3am feeding.
OK. I'm now officially done being mean and envious. We now return to our regularly scheduled bitching.
