Randomness
God, I love wireless. I love my laptop. I love laying in bed busily typing away. All I need is a little beanie with a propeller and my life will be complete.
Baby S. is officially sick. Took her to the revered Dr. K, my poor little baby. The upshot is that Dr. K. is going to arrange for the girls to have RSV shots. I've been absolutely paranoid that they're going to get RSV, I've become a fricken germaphobe.
In other news, Baby D. is experimenting with her voice. She likes to roar, she's a wildwoman. She races around in the Exersaucer, and bites on everything. Then I hear her - "Rooooooaaaaawwwwrrrr"...she's a freak, just like her momma. The little toys on the Exersaucer have given her little scratches on her face (from her chewing on them), I can't stop her! I can almost hear her little voice saying, "Yeah, I got into a fight after school, but you should see the other guy." She's a tough little bitch, and I secretly love it.
Am I the only white trash momma who still has her Xmas tree up? I love my tree, but it needs to come down. DH has said that they tree will likely be up until the end of the month, because "this is going to be a busy month."....
which gets me thinking: who's coming over this weekend? and next weekend? He's planning something, I just know it. Its eerie how well I know my husband.
Sorting through the mail today, I got the new Pottery Barn catalog. I just drool over that fucking catalog. I mean, who the hell really lives like this? Who has rooms that look this way? Everything is immaculate. People with nannies and maids. No - better yet - people with no kids. Hmph.
Some Noggin news: I'm not liking "64 Zoo Lane". Neither are the girls. I do like that they've switched "Little Bear" and "Dora" in the 4pm and 5:30 time slots. That works much better for me. But what did they do with "123 Sesame Street"? Am I going to have to go back to PBS for my Elmo fix? Damn, damn, double damn.
January 19th is "Hobby and Craft Day" on QVC. Will someone please come to my house, and keep me away from the phone and my plastic, before I buy more scrapbooking supplies that I won't use?
I don't like to do New Year's Resolutions. But I did however make a list of goals for 2005 (I know, you say tomato, I say tomahto). One of my goals is "SCRAPBOOK OR DIE".
Anyone else make resolutions? Goals? Share 'em, I'm nosey.
